Thank you!!! We locked down the site within a couple of minutes of the intrusion and after much investigation have been able to remove the changes the intruders made. When I played it in VLC the sound was choppy and muffled BUT when played in the BS Player or Windows Media Player it was perfect. Just got this XP10 to see if the image quality is better -- it's WAY better. I have Mastercard insurance on this purchase so I will use that to get a full refund. I am wondering if there might be some tool for such tasks?

Turn off camera set on a table and with a bright light look around the lens turret to see if there is any foreign matter jamming the lens. Fortunately, about half the cameras that suffer this failure can easily be fixed by one of the following methods. Tried power cycling camera few times to make sure it works. 5. But note that I DON'T recommend keeping the cable installed during Fix 6 as you may damage the AV port while tapping the camera. what coul be the problem cant take pictures because it says protected card but the same card works fine on xp50 fujifilm. and then off again.it will pull the lens back... Click Select6. When I put it back together the zoom mechanism extended and stayed there.

To get to the zoom mechanism you have to remove 3 layers of circuit boards. Even the eye detail it was kind of spooky to look at some of the pics! I have had it for a couple of years and love it.
