Also, would it help to try Ghost 10 and see if the later version makes a difference?I've never played with it on my Linux computer. I download a program called HDD Regenerator that you put on a floppy, boot off of it, and it detects and repairs all bad sectors on a hard-drive - any file navigate to this website If this can't be done, what good are backups??Bottom line is I don't want to have to reinstall XP pro and all my programs, settings etc.
