If the reading is correct, test operation of the potentiometer by measuring the resistance between pin terminal G (center) and either of the outside pin terminals as the control shaft is OK without a multimeter it would be just a guess but I'd replace the sensor before I replaced the control board since it's so much cheaper. If the reading at the sensor is the same as reading at the EOC plug, the sensor is defective.
