If it does not, the pictures can not be printed. if you do this it doesnt matter what files your OS may write onto the card (Mac, Windows or whatever) and is good practice imho. And some cards, it seems, are just plain bad! It has been working fine until last month. check over here I thought it's because of memory card I used but it does same thing with other memory cards. You just need to remove the card, save the pictures (those that hadn't been saved will be lost) and format the card with the camera's formatting feature.
