And I'm pretty sure I formatted the card (not just deleted the files) afterwards. All the wiring is the right places and don't look damaged. This happened with more than one card, all newly formatted. This might not be the best practice though in terms of filling up memory cards and possibly slowing down their operation. They say my D80 will take a 32G ...and that is a lot to lose (by theft or damage or fail) There is some card recovery software (do a 'google') and also when i tried to format it with my camera is says "Error" and wont let me format it Can't find your answer ?
